This beauty round-up will keep you up-to-date on all the news you’ll need for the month, including a new flagship store, some new Dublin Airport goodies and more…
These are the key beauty bits to know this month, so you won’t miss out.
New flagship store
Dermalogica has just celebrated the opening of its first Irish flagship store. It opened to the public this past Saturday, March 7, and you can find it in St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on the first floor. It’s a one-stop shop for all things Dermalogica, and you can buy the cult products you love as well as get treatments.
Codex launch into Dublin Airport
Yay! One of our favourite Irish brands is now available in the Beauty Hall at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport. You won’t be able to miss the Codex Beauty stand which will stock all your favourites (including the incredible facial oil I’m obsessed with). And for travellers looking to trial the range, without spending massive money, they’re also stocking the Discovery Set that includes four of the products in miniature.
Chanel’s eye collection
Launched this past week on March 6, Chanel’s 2020 eye collection introduces Le Volume Stretch de Chanel mascara, with a new 3D printed brush, Le Liner de Chanel in 7 shades, and La Palette Soucils brow kit which has been reformulated and comes in three different colour harmonies.
Skin Health month
La Roche-Posay’s fourth annual Skin Health Month is on this month, and it aims to “empower those living with sensitive skin through awareness” and encourages people to seek advice. During the campaign, if you go to your local pharmacy, you can get a free in-store skin consultation with an expert, trained skincare-advisor.
Bobbi Brown, Pretty Powerful
There’s nothing I love more than beauty with purpose, and Bobbi Brown’s Pretty Powerful campaign is always a winner on this front. This year, a cosmetic bag designed by the amazing Elizabeth Scarlett Petrides and filled with iconic products (including Smokey Eye Mascara, Pot Rouge in powder pink and Vitamin Enriched Face Base) is the one. The most important part is that for each Bobbi Brown x Elizabeth Scarlett make-up bad sold in Ireland, the full RRP (€74) will be donated to Dress For Success.
World Sleep Day
Who knew there was such a thing? Does this give us permission to take a day off work to catch up on our beauty sleep? It better. Image Skincare are making sure your skin gets the most out of the (totally makey uppy) day with their Vital C Hydrating Overnight Masque, €62, the overnight treatment I call sleep in a jar.
