Get excited: Zara is launching a beauty range

Some of the IMAGE staff will happily admit to being ZARA addicts. That addiction will be going nowhere fast with the news that the retailer is (finally) launching a beauty range.

Looking for an affordable, velvety matte lipstick for your Christmas party? They’ll have 20 shades for you to chose from. The new lipstick collection features 20 lip colours, from classic reds to pinks, in two matte finishes, reportedly inspired by the “backstage magic of the Zara fashion campaigns.”

Much like the clothing, the collection looks to be simple, chic and sophisticated.

The lip range will feature 12 ‘Ultimatte’ lipstick shades of a traditional formula, while their eight liquid lipstick colours promise a smooth, easy-to-apply matte lip for a hue that gives a more dramatic finish. Prices are set to start from around €10.99.

And if you’re looking for a secret Santa gift or stocking filler, three lipsticks will be available to buy in a set, while the limited-edition ‘Ultimatte Trio Set’ will help you achieve the exact look from Zara’s autumn-winter 18 campaign.

Before applying a matte, it’s a good idea to give your lips some TLC and use an exfoliant to get rid of any dry skin, and if you want to soften the pigment, you can apply a balm underneath.

The collection is due to launch on December 5th, exclusively online. It’s set to be available on their UK site first, so keep an eye on Zara.com/uk from Wednesday.
