Oh hey, honey! It’s the ingredient du jour, and I’m into it. Nourishing, rich and evocative, honey is a natural for inclusion in beauty products…
The face mask
This moisturising mask from Antipodes (which has recently launched into Boots in Ireland – yay!) combines a unique blend of manuka honey extract with organic avocado oils rich in omegas. Manuka honey is a natural remedy that New Zealand’s Maori tribe have been using for centuries to draw moisture to the skin.

The body balm
A recent extension to the Nuxe Rêve de Miel range, this balm-to-oil gives moisture back to those struggling with intense dryness. Its high concentration of fatty acids (from the argan and borage precious botanical oils contained in the product) provides the skin with maximum nutrition for up to 48 hours – ideal for in the winter when your skin is parched.

The cleanser
Isn’t everything from L’Occitane just fancy? The ultimate gift to give, too. This cream-to-foam cleanser is infused with honey (and fig too, we can’t leave that out) and is suitable for normal to oily skin – and don’t worry if you’re sensitive, it’ll work for you too.

The palette
Oh, hey, honey! The Naked palette’s latest iteration is a sight to behold. Warm, delicious looking and full of extremely wearable shades, this might just be the closest version to the OG Naked palette I’ve seen yet. I personally love mixing Sweet, Hive and Sting for a warm, rich chocolate smoky eye.
