In 2015, H&M expanded their offerings from clothing and homeware and added in beauty, and last year they expanded their already wide-ranging assortment of make-up, body care, haircare and beauty tools to catch the clean beauty craze with the Conscious range, created with certified organic, sustainably produced, innovative products; think aluminium-free roll-on deodorant and pre-shampoo hair oil.
From today, H&M have released the latest instalment to their beauty range: 25 scents created in collaboration with Givaudan, one of the world’s leading perfume houses. Each of the fragrances was created through a collaboration between the in-house H&M team and the perfumers Olivier Pescheux and Nisrine Grillié from Givaudan – Pescheux is a world-renowned and award-winning perfumer and Grillié is a young rising star in the fragrance world.
The wardrobe of fragrances is available in store and online from today, with the 25 scents created in three different groups – singles, The Reveries and The Essences.
The single note fragrances come in ten scents around one note, like pear, chocolate and vanilla, which can be played around with and worn together to create a bespoke signature scent.

The more contemporary blends, called The Reveries, are a family of ten different blends that tell a story with names and scents that refer to memories and moments in life; names include Freewheeling, Sparks Will Fly and Above the Clouds and come in Eau de Toilette and body mists.

The five different perfumes called The Essences are more nuanced and complex and as close to a luxury fragrance as you can get with a H&M price tag. The five fragrances refer to the ingredients, which were used in their finest quality, like rose, sandalwood and patchouli. The Essences are available in both Eau de Parfum and as a roll-on perfume oil for pockets and teeny clutch bags.
