Meet the latest Vichy product to strengthen, recover and hydrate the skin.
As stress, screen time, central heating and minimal time outdoors takes its toll, your skin might be feeling under-appreciated. Though it might not feel like your biggest priority, there is so much to be said for beauty in a time of crisis, be it the mood-boosting power of bright lipstick, the feel-good potential of a long bath, or taking a moment for yourself to turn your bathroom into a spa-day with an at-home facial.
Step in, the just-launched Vichy Minéral 89 Fortifying Instant Recovery Sheet Mask, which, at €8.50, is an utterly affordable luxury.
It’s the newest member of the skin-strengthening, hydrating and repairing Minéral 89 family, which if you aren’t already acquainted with, allow me to explain: the Minéral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Booster is step zero in the routine of any dedicated skincare fans and Vichy’s most popular product.
With just 11 ingredients, including the highest concentration of mineralising water from Vichy in France (89%), it reinforces the skin’s barrier while helping it to recover from external aggressors. A combination of 15 key minerals and hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin for up to 24 hours and prevents pollution particles from sticking to the skin. It’s a light and non-sticky gel texture that leaves the skin’s texture improved and feeling healthier, smoother and re-plumped.
After the enormous success of the Minéral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Booster, Vichy introduced Minéral 89 Eyes, with the same fresh and light texture, the same powerful formula of Vichy Thermal Mineralising Water and the same power to soothe, brighten and hydrate the skin. What was added was a caffeine booster to reduce eye bags, dark circles and puffiness and the ability to have moisturised, smoothed, less tired eyes all day.
Vichy Minéral 89 Fortifying Instant Recovery Sheet Mask is the latest development to the range, with the same expert-led, clinically proven powers to instantly recharge, hydrate and recover your skin.
The mask is an innovative design, kept separate from the ingredients in double compartments to limit excessive use of preservatives and guarantee an always fresh formula.
The tissue mask is made from micro-algae fibers and the serum is enriched with Vichy’s legendary water containing 15 minerals to diminish water loss, stimulate skin regeneration and reinforce the skin’s barrier function for stronger skin, plus plumping and hydrating hyaluronic acid that holds up to 1000 times its weight in water.
The result is smoother, plumper and calmer, hydrated skin with a strengthened skin barrier and 24 hours of hydration. The mask is also alcohol and fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, suitable for sensitive skin and tested under dermatological control.
How to:
- Fold the sachet along the dotted lines on the back of the pack.
- Press the sachet until the seal breaks and lets the formula into the tissue mask compartment.
- Push all the serum through the opening into the tissue mask chamber, making sure the tissue becomes fully soaked.
- Open the sachet and apply it to a clean face. Remove after 10 minutes, being sure to massage any leftover formula into your face, neck and chest.
