IMAGE Young Businesswomen’s Forum: Ask the Experts – A Masterclass in the Media
07th Sep 2018
IMAGE invites you to join us for an evening of extensive learning as the IMAGE Young Businesswomen’s Forum returns to The Westbury Hotel this September, Wednesday 26.
Enjoy delicious canapés and champagne on arrival while availing of the opportunity to network with like-minded guests before we begin our in-depth, comprehensive Media Masterclass. We will be joined by Kathryn Mason, CEO and founder of Masonry; Gerardine Lally, founder of Lally & Associates; and Marissa Carter, founder and CEO of Cocoa Brown.
During this Media Masterclass, we will delve inside the minds of three media experts, allowing you to develop and expand your PR skills, ultimately helping you to achieve optimal coverage for your brand in these increasingly competitive times.
PR guru Kathryn Mason will provide you with the tools needed to manage a comprehensive PR campaign from start to finish, touching on areas such as strategy, optimal timing, getting noticed and pitching ideas successfully.
Communications expert Gerardine Lally will be teaching us how to develop our own story, and present ourselves in advance of and during interview/media appearances. Gerardine will also share with us her tips on how to navigate tricky questions and situations.
Marissa Carter, someone who has successfully built an internationally recognised brand from scratch, a brand that consistently receives great coverage in the media, will share her story with us.
As always, there will be plenty of opportunity at the end of the event to ask the experts your own personal questions.

In 2012 Marissa’s beauty brand, Cocoa Brown, came to life. Marissa saw a gap in the market and worked with a team of cosmetic chemists to create a world first, 1 HOUR TAN, one that did not need to develop over night. Cocoa Brown 1 HOUR TAN hit shelves across Ireland and was a sell-out success. Cocoa Brown now consists of a suite of different products and is available in over 23 countries.
This September sees the launch of Carter Beauty Cosmetics. Never one to do anything by halves, Marissa will burst onto the cosmetics scene with a whopping 103 make-up bag must-haves.
