Kabuki Winged Eyeliner At Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018

The?Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018 beauty look was Kabuki-mask inspired, but the stand-out part of this expressive look was some majorly winged eyeliner.

The collection was an homage to Japanese design and culture and Kabuki-mask inspired looks were all dramatic brows and colourful face paint.

If you’re someone who tends to be late because of dodgy eyeliner, you might be lucky if you’re brave enough to pull this look off. You can forget about stressing over the perfect liner anymore because a bold and imperfect look is what you’re going for here – as you can see, the more liner, the better.

Make-up artist Pat McGrath described on Instagram how the look was created using her?Dark Star 006 Black Smudge Eyeliner Kohl.

Step 1: Apply 006 BLACK SMUDGE LINER and shape into elongated wing.
Step 2: Blend with 006 Blender Brush and apply 006 DARK MATTER pigment, smoking out the edges.
Step 3: Apply 006 ULTRAVIOLET BLUE pigment with finger, and blend with 006 Blender Brush.
Step 4: Apply 006 ASTRAL WHITE pigment to inner corner of eye, blending onto lid.
Step 5: Apply 006 MERCURY pigment with a small wet brush to inner corner of eye.
Step 6: Apply mascara and false lashes.
