GROWN-UP GLITTER
If one trend was prevalent on the SS18 runways, it was glitter. An obsession with highlighters, strobing, glow drops and a lit-from-within glow has taken a 1990s turn, so look to Stella Jean, Topshop and Emporio Armani and be brave. Try stick-on cosmetic jewels; super-fine, dazzling fallen particles; or holographic accents.

VIBRANT PIGMENTS
This summer, match fresh skin with acid bright eyeshadow pigments. Get inspired by the best of SS18’s eye-popping electro-bright eyes, like the washes of pastel pinks at Pam Hogg, the vivid neon- orange eyeliner as seen at Delpozo, or the high impact cobalt blue colour blocks created by Pat McGrath at Marni.

GLOSSY EYES
Switch up your glossy pout for a slick glossy eye. Yes, it will budge and slip, but grungy, smudged and lived-in is the look you’re going for. Rub away any bleeding gloss, and pat more gloss over eyeshadow that’s gathering in the crease; remember, unfinished and imperfect is how it’s done. Match your wet-look eye with intense shadows, like burgundy or copper, and bonus points if you contrast your textures and pair your glossy eye with a matte mouth.
