The IMAGE Beauty Awards: This year’s best eye make-up

The 15th annual IMAGE Beauty Awards supplement is out now with the April issue of IMAGE magazine. Inside the supplement, you’ll find the best beauty launches of the last year, brought to you in partnership with Boots. The awards are independently judged by Ireland’s leading doctors, dermatologists, beauty professionals, make-up artists, hair experts and influencers.

IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris says, “I hope we’ve included some familiar favourites here, along with some future heroes you’ll consider valuable new additions to your beauty bag. We’ve also made sure to pick up plenty of insider pro tips from our expert judging panel and have shared the best with you in the IMAGE Beauty Awards supplement.”

Check out the 10 winning eye products chosen by Christine Lucignano, celebrity make-up artist; Melanie Morris, IMAGE contributing editor; Judy Wong, freelance make-up artist; Chloé Boucher, beauty influencer; and Tara Anderson, make-up artist.

Max Factor Smokey Eye Matte Drama Kit, €13.99

“I used a tiny bit of eyeshadow primer with this. There’s no shimmer, so matte lovers will love it.”
– Christine Lucignano

Rimmel London Wonder Wing Eyeliner, €7.95

“This didn’t feather or crack throughout the day. For a budget buy, this was so good.”
– Christine Lucignano

BPerfect LMD Master Palette, €29.95

“A whole face kit in one – it’s everything you need in a palette except foundation or concealer. You’d know a make-up artist had a hand in creating it.”
– Tara Anderson

Inglot Signature Collection Palettes, €32

“I love the combination of tones. The pigment and pay-o was the perfect amount. Anyone who is creative, as we go into summer, colour will be easier to wear – you’ll love this.”
– Judy Wong

Madison Berry Bold Palette, €19.95

“The strong reds, pinks and oranges we’re so obsessed with for eyes right now can be pretty or punchy, depending on how you apply. There are four dial-them-up highlights to boot.”
– Melanie Morris

NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Liner, €12

“This is the perfect inky black liner. It dries really quickly and it’s not smudgy at all.”
– Judy Wong

Essence Metal Shock Eyeshadow, €4

“This was heaven on my eyelids. Once I applied it on my eyes, I wanted to cover myself in it. It’s like 24 karat gold on the eye.”
– Judy Wong

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour Matte, €30

“It’s so smooth, easy to blend, doesn’t budge, and is great if you value your time. If you have creasy eyeshadow problems, you’ll have no more with this.”
– Christine Lucignano

Christian Louboutin Eye Definer, €40

“This is like cream on your eye. It’s really pigmented and I loved the colour. I liked smudging it along the top lash line or in the waterline.”
– Chloe? Boucher

MAC Brushstroke Liner, €23

“The most perfect thin liner and great for inchers. The applicator is so tiny.”
– Tara Anderson
