Here at IMAGE.ie, we never cease to be amazed at how talented makeup artists are. Some can, quite literally, do anything with makeup, and our case in point for today is Laura Jenkinson.
The London-based makeup artist has been causing a bit of a stir thanks to her somewhat unusual talent of being able to transform her chin into famous cartoon characters, just using makeup. This is something we’d never heard of or considered doing before, but the pictures are seriously impressive. So much so, that they’ve even gone viral.

Using her lips as the starting point for her makeover masterpieces, Laura artfully brings to life Disney faves Sebastian (Ariel’s crab companion), Nemo and Timon and Pumba, cartoon classics Shrek, the Powerpuff girls and Popeye, as well as aliens, animals and seasonal characters. There is a serious amount of skill in the creations and we’re betting that wearing one on a fun night out would mean more than a few glances are thrown your way.

She told the Daily Mail that she was inspired by other Instagram accounts when creating the pint-sized chin portraits. ?I’d seen loads of other fantastic make-up artists on Instagram and I wanted to do something similar and on a bigger scale so I started doing about one a week,? she said. Talking about the tools of her trade, she says it’s all just down to makeup -?I use theatrical make-up normally, but I occasionally use lipstick if I need to get the exact shade of something? – adding that the designs are easy enough to do, despite them looking complicated. ?I find a picture and then just hold it up to the mirror as a guide and draw straight onto my face – it’s easier than you think!,? she added.
