3 for Tuesday: Body care products worth investing in

3 for Tuesday: Body care products worth investing in

Body care products are often forgotten. We cherish the skin on our faces, but the rest of our body’s largest organ deserves (and needs!) some TLC…

Maybe it’s my keratosis pilaris struggle, maybe it’s my stretch marks, or maybe it’s just the knowledge that my body should match my face in terms of skin ageing – whatever the reason, I have been paying special attention to my body care products recently.

Here are three I’m really enjoying…

body care products

Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Body Oil

€57 from dermalogica.ie

This is divine. I’ve used it since I got it after every shower and my skin not only feels replenished and hydrated, but it’s super soothing too. I feel calmer. Between using that and lighting a lavender candle, sure I might as well be in a spa.

The oil is feather light too, and contains French plum seed oil, avocado oil and sunflower seed oil help protect skin’s lipid barrier.

Penneys PS… Naturals Exfoliating Mitt

€1.50 from Penneys stores nationwide

The best €1.50 I’ve spent in a long while, this natural exfoliating mitt means my skin gets stimulated while I body brush. I use this both wet and dry – although I don’t know which is the recommendation, but that doesn’t matter to me really. A great thing to have in the bathroom, and for €1.50 – who can complain?

body care products

Skingredients Sally Cleans Salicylic Acid Cleanser

€25 from skingredients.com

Okay, granted, this product wasn’t strictly made for body skin I don’t think. But if there’s an area that’s bumpy,  broken out or needing extra attention, a quick go with this salicylic acid cleanser once a week and you’ll be sorted.

I love using this on my decollete where often I get break outs hormonally.
