Everyone likes to up their sartorial game in December. Here are some winter outfits that are inspiring me this month.
This gorgeous outfit is utterly ageless. The coat is directional without being over the top, while a classic polo-neck and trainers give it a sophisticated and modern finish.
Grey trousers and a striped top could look flat, but this style star has elevated her outfit by introducing interesting cuts and a warm pop of burgundy. The pleated and cropped style of her trousers add interest, while the funnel-neck, elbow-length sleeve jacket layers beautifully over the striped top and grey polo-neck.
The new way to do pyjama dressing is to mix up tops and bottoms rather than wearing head-to-toe, and this fashion follower has nailed it. She’s paired her striped overlong trousers with a fringed sweatshirt. This is a great Christmas Day option – comfortable and chic.
How to elevate jeans? Add a gorgeous statement cardigan and standout’shoes. Cosy and elegant.
Layered knits are reinvented with a stunning gold choker, while patent boots add additional?polish. I love the punch of red that the shoulder bag introduces.
Classic indigo flares and a cropped tweed jacket are given a contemporary twist with a statement furry trim. The fit of these jeans and cut of the jacket showcase this stylish woman’s curves beautifully.
These beautiful jewel shades work so well?together. I love the embroidered finish on the dress and the furry trim on the coat. These details elevate what is already a stunning pairing.
Utilitarian denim is upgraded here. Although the denim top is patchwork, there’s nothing boho about the overall look. The cut of the top and the pairing of it with smart culottes gives the overall outfit a very sophisticated finish. I also love the addition of red snakeskin boots.
Brocade is always a winner at Christmas. This coat is muted, so perfect for daytime. I love how its been paired with an earthy forest green sweater – it offsets the “fanciness” of the brocade.
Textured knits, a sleek silhouette and a simple heel combine to make this outfit much more than the sum of its parts. Go for high heel ankle boots instead of a shoe if you’re worried about ankle chill!
