41 of the best street style looks from Fashion Month so far

Been glued to the coverage of New York and London Fashion Week so far? Us too — especially the fabulous street style

With a fortnight of sartorial heaven still to go in the first Fashion Month of 2020, our Saved Folders on Instagram are already bursting at the seams with snapshots of the new season style.

The catwalks have already given us some brilliant moments — in New York, the wondrous Christopher John Rogers show cemented him as one of New York’s brightest new stars, while in London, Tommy Hilfiger’s star-studded affair brought seasoned runway names such as Jodie Kidd and Naomi Campbell back into our eyeline — but as we all know, our heads are increasingly turned towards the streets and what styling secrets they hold during Fashion Month.

Iconic photographer Bill Cunningham once said that “the best fashion show is definitely on the street. Always has been and always will be”. And he would know — Cunningham is widely credited as cementing street style into the zeitgeist of fashion coverage, as one of the most prolific street photographers ever. We wonder what he would make of AW2020’s style this time around, as the streets of London and New York (while dealing with some pretty dismal weather) were awash with colour, texture and layers of sumptuous styling.

Want to see our favourite takes on AW dressing? Our gallery of 41 looks is where we’ll be looking for inspiration in the coming year.
