5 Gorgeous Statement Necklaces

5 Gorgeous Statement Necklaces

Less obvious than a red lip?but with the same high-voltage effect,?a fabulous statement necklace is a great way to add sophistication and personality to your?outfit. Here are five of my favourites.

I can’t stop looking at this exquisite neckpiece from uterque.com, which means I am bound to buy it. I love how it is’styled above over a classic grey polo-neck. It will elevate your daywear over the festive season, but it’s also perfect for glamming up a little black dress.

Golden flower necklace, €75 at uterque.com

A statement necklace doesn’t have to be fussy, it can be minimal instead. The graphic aesthetic of this piece really appeals to me, and I love the balance between the very fine chain and the oversized gold tone plate.

Metal plate necklace, €35 at stories.com

I’m a big fan of French, London-based designer Emma Cassi. Her pieces aren’t cheap, but she makes only limited numbers of each so you really are getting something special. Cassi uses a mix of?antique French lace and adornments such as sequins, precious stones and ribbon to create her’stunning jewellery. They’re a wonderful way to add texture to an outfit.

Pink fur necklace, €220 at emmacassi.com

This gorgeous pendant has been fashioned from 5,000-year-old bog oak and comes from my new favourite jewellery brand Leko & Leko. The material feels so modern when reimagined as a contemporary neckpiece. Plus, you’ll receive a complimentary Christmas card with each order.

Cut-out pendant, €107 at lekoandleko.com

A pop of colour can really add energy to your look, and this quirky resin neckpiece is perfect for those of you who like to add interest through accessories but prefer to?keep your clothes simple and pared back. Tangerine is a big colour for next season, so this piece will work beautifully year round.
