Olivier Rousteing’s #BalmainArmy is about to gain some tiny new recruits. Following the success of the sell out collaboration with high street label H&M, the French fashion house has just announced the launch of a children’s fashion line, available from June this year.
Rousteing already dresses Kim Kardashian’s daughter North (she’s been wearing the custom-made designs since she was two), and it seems the reality star may have been the very one to persuade him to venture into a full-scale line for teeny tots. He is BFF’s with almost the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan after all, with the Jenner sisters frequently photographed wearing his designs.
The 55-piece collection will be for boys and girls ages 6 to 14 and feature designs shown by the brand on the runway in the past five years.

“These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids,” Rousteing said in a statement.
It seems the designer has come full circle, following his recent break away from the use of social media-savvy millennial stars to featuring three “original supermodels”?in his Spring/Summer ’16 campaign.
While the children’s range is undoubtedly stylish and cute,?it isn’t on par with the more affordable prices from his H&M collection. US Weekly reports that prices are on the higher scale and there’s no word as to whether they’ll drop down.
