Assasin chic would very well be the phrase to describe the effortlessly stylish Villanelle of Killing Eve. Only a few episodes into its third season (it’s already brilliant), and this time around, she’s demonstrating a softer sartorial flare, without giving anything away. Throughout seasons one and two, she demonstrated a love for luxury fashion, with favoured brands including Molly Goddard, Dries Van Noten and Alexander McQueen and now she merges modern classic with vintage shift dresses and custom gowns as she travels – flees? – to Europe.
“Villanelle doesn’t give any of her secrets away in the way she dresses,” Killing Eve costume designer Sam Perry told InStyle. “The main point of her looks is working out who she really is, whilst still remaining a mystery. Villanelle can go from being powerful to vulnerable to unhinged within a few outfits.”
Dressed to kill doesn’t even cover it.
Here are the looks we’ve loved so far:

Her Barcelona look had a 60s appeal with a printed La DoubleJ tunic dress and Golden Goose boots.

Arguably, the season’s standout look so far, Villanelle went for a softer ensemble in the form of a floral, floor-length dress by The Vampire’s Wife which you can now pre-order. It’s actually called ‘The Villanelle dress.’

She’s striking in a bold, 70s-inspired Halpern suit for her London activity from their spring/summer 2020 collection.

And even downtime is glamourous in Olivia von Halle silk pyjamas.

Season three opens with Villanelle in a striking black suit (with Jimmy Choo shoe boots of course), a Comme Des Garçons tuxedo style blazer teamed with Simone Rocha blouse, Racil trousers and a Loewe corsage. As with everything else she wears, it’s effortless.
