With multiple reports detailing the couples’ wedding celebrations before they acknowledged it themselves, Mrs Bieber herself offered fans a closer look at her dresses for the occasion – she wore three in total
The 22-year-old model wore a custom-made lace gown designed by Virgil Abloh for Off-White to walk down the aisle in. As part of her nuptials in South Carolina, she wore an off-the-shoulder neckline, a tulle train with pearl embellishments and a dramatic veil with a very on-brand “Till death do us part” stitched on the hem. The groom wore a suit by Hedi Slimane for Celine.
She thanked Abloh in a series of Instagram posts shared on Monday night, writing: “Thank you for making my vision come to life and creating my dream dress. You and your @Off___White team are incredible and I’m forever grateful I got to wear your beautiful creation.” Black and white wedding photographs shared by the bride offer a closer look at details of the gown, including the floral lace sleeves studded with pearls.
The couple initially wed in a courthouse ceremony in the autumn of 2018, ahead of their star-studded nuptials at the luxury Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina, over three days from September 29th to October 1st.
The designer choice makes sense; the Biebers are longtime Abloh fans; Hailey has walked in Off-White’s runway shows and, if you’re an avid follower of his social media, you’ll know that Justin frequently sports the brand’s oversized hoodies.
Though this wasn’t the only bridal look that Hailey wore during their celebrations, as she also wore two other looks over the course of the celebrations.
She also chose a Vivienne Westwood minidress for the rehearsal dinner, and a simpler white halter neck dress for the after-party.
We don’t know much about the event itself (rumours say it followed a theme of The Notebook) but it was star-studded, with the Jenners, Usher, Katy Perry, and Ed Sheeran reportedly in attendance.
