H&M’s latest collaboration focuses on beautiful Italian tailoring

It’s all we want to wear for AW20
H&M’s collaborations have become legendary among the high street set over the past number of years. From the breezy, 70’s florals of their William Morris collab, to the refined knitwear of their Pringle of Scotland partnership, we’re always waiting with bated breath to hear of the next link-up.
Next month, H&M’s latest collaboration will be released in stores and online, and it’s perfect for the upcoming autumn season. The high street behemoth is partnering with Giuliva Heritage, an Italian label focusing on beautiful tailoring designed to last a lifetime.
While the clothes themselves are stunning, the real star of this collaboration is the sustainable focus. Giuliva Heritage’s pieces, by design, are made to be worn for years — rejecting major trends and focusing on colour palettes and silhouettes that will stand the test of time. But as well as impeccable aesthetics, this collaboration is entirely made from recycled materials — except for two pieces, which are made from organic cotton.
In the beginning of Giuliva Heritage’s journey, founder Margherita would borrow from her husband Gerardo’s wardrobe, inspiring the masculine approach to the collection’s look. Their collaboration with H&M includes strong tailored blazers, trench coats in recycled wool, as well as flowing blouses and dresses, in shades of navy, beige and burgundy, to make up the backbone of a beautifully tailored capsule wardrobe.
“It was wonderful to work with H&M on this collection”, said Margherita and Gerardo. “Together, we created easy transitional pieces with designs that stand the test of time… We have always been passionate about authentic, meaningful fashion that lasts and this collection undoubtedly captures that.”
The collection will land in selected stores and online on September 3.
