Katy Perry Announces Major Fashion Collaboration

Last time we wrote about Katy Perry’s sartorial game, she was teaming up with Moschino for one killer campaign and just now, she’s been named as the face of H&M, starring in their forthcoming Christmas campaign. As far as brand and celebrity collaborations go, this one makes perfect sense. Though mega-famous, Katy still retains that ‘everygirl’ vibe and H&M is a brand that will likely sit well with the shopping habits of her loyal fan base.

Commenting on the forthcoming partnership, Perry says “H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style… I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cosy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can’t wait for you to see the world we created with Jonas ?kerlund and Dan Jackson.”

Excitement is mounting at H&M HQ, ahead of their global television and print campaign that will “”We are so thrilled that Katy Perry will star in our campaign this holiday season,” says Pernilla Wohlfarht, H&M’s head of design. “We love everything about Katy, from her incredible talent and energy to her playful sense of personal style.”
