There comes a point in a woman’s life where she has to treat herself sartorially.
In my case, this happens once a month and usually coincides with payday. In my defence, it is needed. We work hard, we try our best and this credits a reward every now and again.
There is no better place to treat oneself accordingly than the online high street. And this week, the new in pages provided us with a treasure trove of jewels. From Uterqüe’s monochrome midi dream and Zara’s killer red dress to the Chanel-esque ankle strap delights from Oasis, there is an abundance of items making us excited about the new season ahead.

New horizons, new visions and new temperatures are nearly upon us, which means over the coming weeks, our wardrobes will move into a transition period. The base which we build them upon will change and so will we. Trench coats will take over from oversized wool creations and materials will become lighter. Skirt and dresses will make an appearance and at some point, the tights may be finally put away.
This shift means any purchase made now has to take all of these considerations into account.
Clothes aren’t everything and this we can be sure of, but just for a little while, it’s ok to smile wildly and creepily at the Fastway courier who hands you your little package of joy.
Now go ahead, treat yourself.
