Our favourite light jackets for confusing spring weather

Our favourite light jackets for confusing spring weather

I asked a colleague the other day what date it was, to which he replied, “the 242nd of January”. That’s exactly how it feels despite our one-weekend respite of sunshine.

Normally, this is the time of year when we begin to de-layer and lighten our sartorial load. While we live in hope that summer will actually show its beautiful head soon, we need something in the interim that will keep us warm while the weather refuses to make its mind up (don’t look outside today. Just don’t). A light jacket is the perfect remedy for cold shoulders and arms and even the most casual options – a sporty shell jacket with subtle embellishment from Topshop – is an ideal cure for a midday wind-chill. Consider the light jackets below for when summer isn’t really summer but more of a prolonged autumn.
