Following the announcement of the Irish designer’s collaboration with the high-street giant, sizing of the collection has been confirmed, following some confusion about this online
It was announced this week that the 34-year-old Irish-born designer’s luxury brand would be releasing a limited range with the high street store on March 11th.H&M previously said that the range would not be available beyond a size 14 in its European stores.
However, H&M has now confirmed that the size range for the collection will be XS-L with large being equivalent to a UK16-18.
The range will feature Rocha designing menswear, childrenswear and beauty products for the first time.
The campaign, shot by Tyler Mitchell, will include Daisy Edgar-Jones of Normal People, with documentary chats with Adwoa and Kesawa Aboah shot by Simone’s partner Eion McLaughlin.
The collection will revisit her 10-year archive and include all her hallmarks; think pearls, broderie anglaise, bows, tulle, headbands and her best-selling dangly flower earrings, Aran knits and beads. The collection will include sustainably sourced materials like organic cotton, recycled polyester and new compostable yarn. Prices will start at just €6.99 for socks, with dresses and trench coats costing €179 and the most expensive pieces being pearl-decorated brogues at €249.
The collection will be available online only.
Simone Rocha x H&M will be available on March 11.
