The Pippa Edit for V by Very includes some Christmas party gems

The Pippa Edit for V by Very includes some Christmas party gems

Everything Pippa O’Connor touches seems to turn to gold and it’s no different with her November edit for V by Very at Littlewoods Ireland. The Pippa Edit showcases six looks perfect for the impending party season. From a bold, statement red suit (Pippa’s favourite from the collection) to a multi-coloured sequinned top, the collection delivers these “heavy-hitting” pieces along with more subdued items, such as a tactile black chunky knit and a classic plaid coat, both of which will soften sequins for daytime wear.

Of course, it helps that the former professional model is showcasing these looks herself on the Littlewoods Ireland website. Yes, she knows how to strike a good pose, but more importantly than that, Pippa is now a mother of two and a successful entrepreneur, and she takes these super-glam pieces from the “runway” to reality, making them accessible to all women. She demonstrates that you don’t have to be a 20-year-old, size 6 model to rock a pair of sequinned trousers. You simply need to know how to style them to suit your own personality and lifestyle. Here are the strongest pieces from her November edit.

This classic plaid coat has a streamlined silhouette, which looks sharp and sophisticated. Balancing masculine items with party wear is a chic way to make your whole look appear less disco ball and more directional.

Coat, €115

Who can resist some sequins at this time of year? This outfit is a great desk-to-dinner option, as you can wear a silk T-shirt or camisole under the sweater for an evening out.

Fluffy jumper and sequin striped skirt, €42 each

I never like to look overdressed, so this combination of a T-shirt and sequinned wide-leg trousers works for me. Throw a tuxedo jacket over it and you’ve got a great party outfit, perfect for women who don’t want to don a party dress.

Sequinned trousers, €70

Co-ords are a really stylish and fresh way to do partywear this season. This red trouser suit makes a bold statement. Soften it a little by pairing it with a nude camisole and heels.

Tuxedo jacket, €55, and trousers, €35
