My Valentine’s Day Wish List

By Marie Kelly

My Valentine’s Day Wish List

Whether you consider Valentine’s Day a Hallmark holiday or not, it’s always nice to receive a gift from a loved one. Here are a few stylish items I’d be happy to receive any day of the year.

Marni is probably my favourite jewellery brand. It’s contemporary but chic, and it makes even the simplest of outfits look incredibly fashionable. This gorgeous red and crystal brooch is the perfect accessory to wear on Valentine’s Day too.

I recently came across Irish artist David Quinn and I love his textured, abstract canvases. This piece is top of my wish list right now.

I am a long-time fan of Tod’s handbags. The buttery soft leather is of the highest quality, and the brand’s aesthetic is clean and minimalist just like mine. It’s an expensive purchase, but then Tod’s is considered an iconic handbag brand.

I first saw this coat rack hanging in a friend’s beautifully converted cottage in the city and I’ve wanted one ever since. I did pick up a version of it in Sostrene Grene in Dun Laoghaire though, which looks pretty good too.

I’d really love to extend my cashmere collection beyond one bobble hat and teal scarf I bought in Paris. This cashmere jumper dress from H&M is so chic, and cosy looking. Powder pink cashmere feels like the most indulgent of buys, but what a joy this would be to wear on a chilly February evening.

I’m obsessed with interiors at the moment, and I’m forever tweaking the look of my apartment. I love the eclectic nature of many of the homes in this book. It’s a constant source of inspiration.
