Stay tuned for a very special episode of Smart Casual

Smart Casual is IMAGE’s first fashion podcast, in collaboration with Kildare Village. In our bi-weekly chats, we examine why we wear the clothes we do and deal with personal style in a way that speaks to you.

It’s not often that we get not one, but two of Ireland’s premier fashion icons in the same room. While Smart Casual is invested in fashion at every level, to hear how women in the public eye navigate their personal style along with their success is something that we always love to hear about.

Sinéad Burke and Angela Scanlon need no introduction to Irish audiences, but in case you’re fuzzy on the details, let us fill you in.

Sinéad Burke, contributing editor to British Vogue and long-time fashion activist, made her mark on the Irish fashion scene by being a voice for men and women with disabilities who still want to be fashion forward. Moving to international advocacy, Sinéad now rubs shoulders with the world’s top designers while speaking for a more inclusive future of fashion.

Angela Scanlon began her career in styling, and retained her distinct confidence in her personal style throughout her success. Now a successful presenter and broadcaster in the UK, Angela is regularly recognised for her impeccable style and sense of fun with fashion, both at home and abroad.

Smart Casual is thrilled to host these two amazing women in a very special live episode, being recorded tonight in Dublin city centre. They’ll be joining our hosts Dominique, Marie and Niamh to talk about their personal style, their successes, their predictions for future trends and what their wardrobes look like.

Stay tuned to our Instagram stories and Twitter to keep up with what our guests are saying, and be sure to let us know of any questions you have for Sinéad or Angela — we may just ask them on the night,

The podcast will be available to download on Friday the 7th of December, wherever you get your podcasts. Happy listening!
