Zara’s new Campaign Collection has just dropped: here’s everything I’m adding to my basket

Zara’s AW19 collection is 90s Versace meets 70s silhouettes
Zara has just launched its new Campaign Collection, and the pieces are making us very excited for winter dressing.
Zara’s fashion-forward and elevated pieces make it an essential high-street stop off for all seasons, but the latest collection is a cut above the rest — the trailer, released earlier this year, was shot by legendary photographer Stephen Meisel, and featured it-girl of the moment Adut Akech.
The limited-edition collection for AW19 sees punchy prints paired with sharp tailoring, in a gorgeous mix of 70s, 80s and 90s influences.
Heritage checks and tailored coats and blazers show how a classic piece can tie an outfit together no matter what the context — invest in these for a capsule wardrobe that will last, and look to the bright printed midi dresses, flirty blouses and statement-making shoes to have fun with.
Textures are plentiful in the collection too, with faux fur, chunky knitwear, sequins and lace all making an appearance.
But the colours are where the new edit really shines — who said winter was all about muted tones? Fuschia pinks and deep burgundies are the key colours for the season, but loud prints and colour pops mean you can style the new season in whatever hue you choose.
Finishing off the outfits is a capsule of chunky gold jewellery, with oversized earrings and necklaces making the perfect conclusion to a gorgeous ensemble.
Sumptuous, luxurious but all at a price point we can get behind — we can’t wait to dive in.
