From day to night: Team IMAGE on their capsule wardrobe essentials

I am really trying to create a capsule wardrobe with versatile pieces that are still a little bit fun and quirky. I love anything with a flared or wide leg so when spotted the High Rise Cropped Jeans, I immediately fell in love. They are so versatile and have that element of fun I was looking for with the cropped wide leg. Like most of SPANX’s pieces, they can dressed up or dressed down and worn in summer or winter. I am already envisioning myself wearing them with a pop of orange for an event I have coming up!

If I have the option to be both comfortable and stylish I feel like I have won the lotto! Having a plus-sized body can be difficult at times when it comes to fashion. A lot of brands are under the illusion that plus-sized women want to cover up and wear everything oversized. That is just not me! I am comfortable in my own body and I don’t feel the need to hide it. It is refreshing to see SPANX catering to different body types throughout their whole range. A favourite SPANX piece amongst the women of Ireland is a classic pair of Faux Leather Leggings. I knew I needed to have them in my wardrobe and I was thrilled to see they ranged in size from XS to XXXL. They are a wardrobe essential to have, summer or winter. They can be worn dressed down with a T-shirt and trainers or dressed up with a blazer and heels.

I’m obsessed with the SPANX AirEssentials Half Zip Sweat Top and AirEssentials Wide Leg Sweat Bottoms set. It’s crafted from a wonderfully soft fabric and makes for a perfect co-ord for when I’m on the move. It felt incredibly cosy and comfortable, making it ideal for travel. Plus, its classic styling makes it suitable for work which is a bonus.

I also loved this pair of flared mid-rise jeans. They’re versatile, chic, and go with everything in my wardrobe. The fit was incredibly flattering, and they felt super comfortable, which is essential for me when choosing jeans. I would definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a great pair of flares.

As a woman in her mid-twenties, I’m at the point in my life where I’m transitioning from a more casual style to something chic and classy. I love investing in a jacket because you can style them in multiple ways, and in Ireland, we need a jacket every day, no matter the season. I recently picked up the SPANX Tie-Front Jean Shirt Jacket, and I’m thrilled with it. The lightweight stretch denim is incredibly comfortable. You can wear it open, closed, with or without the belt, but my favourite way to wear it is closed with a big bow tied at the front. I have been pairing it with T-shirts and trousers, and even shorts when the weather allows.

The second item I picked up was the SPANX On-the-Go Wide-Leg Trousers. Again, I can’t get over how comfortable they are. These trousers have such great stretch that there are no openings; they simply slide on. The cropped wide legs look lovely styled with some little pumps and maybe a cute sock. In winter, the white trousers will look great with some black boots.
