Navi Kaur: My Copenhagen Fashion Week style diary

Navi Kaur: My Copenhagen Fashion Week style diary

Navi Kaur is a content creator based in Los Angeles. Recently making the journey over to Copenhagen for her first CPHFW, her style is a bold mix of high-street and designer – always with a colourful touch.

SUNDAY

Sunday was a long travel day for me, all the way from Los Angeles to Copenhagen, and I knew I had to be comfy in order to land in Copenhagen in the best mood! I wore my trusty adidas tracksuit, a simple white tee, and my Marc By Marc Jacobs Tote in yellow for that pop of colour I can never skip!

MONDAY

It’s the first day of my very first Copenhagen Fashion Week and I couldn’t be more excited! Thankfully, the sun was shining and I decided to go all out. I wore my Solace London pink dress, which is a staple for someone who loves colour as much as I do, along with my vintage Chanel and these lime Prada pumps which were the perfect shade to break up a very, very pink look!

TUESDAY

I adored wearing this Joao Maraschin look. The brand kindly loaned it to me to wear to the show. Joao is a young designer and such an amazing surprise! I am always excited to discover and support new designers, and I absolutely adored the collection and its identity, definitely something different out there. My pastel yellow blazer and skirt combo was the right choice. I accessorised with my new Gucci sunglasses and a thin white headscarf, to achieve a fashionable but fun look! I love how yellow and burgundy pair together so I couldn’t skip my Saint Laurent Carine slingbacks.

WEDNESDAY

Another day, another outfit that I was very much looking forward to sporting! Pun intended as the Baum Und Pferdgarten Runway Show was held in the stadium! I loved wearing this red Norma Kamali dress, Marques’Almeida flared trousers, Miu Miu bag and Balenciaga pumps in bright Fuschia.

THURSDAY

Thursday was time for the Rotate show, one that I was really looking forward to. This collection stayed true to the brand’s DNA, made of wearable but sexy pieces. I wore a beautiful Rotate sky blue cardigan, patent Frankie Shop shorts, and of course, my beloved Saint Laurent slingbacks again which seem to go with absolutely everything! I love shopping for vintage jewellery from all over the world, and this look called for a mix-and-match of statement pearls and metals.

FRIDAY

A casual look for my Friday in Copenhagen, for a stroll around the city and to check out some of the city’s coolest shops! I wore a Ganni blazer, NAKD black capris, and a Jacquemus bag and shoes combo. The Bambidou bag in shearling is such a statement, and definitely a conversation-starter piece – glad to have it in my wardrobe!

SATURDAY

Time to go home now, but I wanted to take the opportunity to have a little brunch to conclude my first Copenhagen Fashion Week! I wore this colourful set from Stine Goya – if I were a designer, I would have most likely designed something just like this! Perfect for the everyday, but also to dress it up. I wore it with the softest Tissa Fontaneda iconic bubble bag, in the perfect shade of green, along with my Tom Ford Sunglasses.
