MONDAY
Mondays are normally spent working from home, where you will find me in leggings and a vintage oversized jumper. Comfort is key for me and the more oversized the better! You will see this is a common thread in my outfits… I love getting out for a big walk with my dog every morning and my favourite coat to throw on is this pink quilted coat handed down to me from my sister-in-law. It’s from Topshop and I get so many compliments on it. I love telling people it’s second-hand.
TUESDAY
I tend to have different meetings during the week and always reach for my favourite coat when I know I will be out and about. I am delighted it’s autumn and I can start wearing it again. I rented this coat over in the UK when I was doing market research for Happy Days. I loved it so much but couldn’t find it anywhere online to buy. I spotted Isabel Gleeson wearing it in one of her TikTok videos so I decided to message her to see if she wanted to sell it to me. Luckily she said yes and I basically haven’t taken it off since!!
WEDNESDAY
I recently launched The Happy Days podcast. I chat all about the happy days in my guests’ lives. We video record each episode so I need to make sure I am comfortable but also have a nice outfit on as it will be caught on camera. My new favourite trousers are a navy pair I picked up from COS. I saw them on Hollie Mercedes on Instagram and she is my go-to for outfit inspiration. Before I buy anything new, I need to know I will get the wear out of it. I have already worn these trousers about 10 times in two weeks so I definitely made the right call. I pair them with this brown chunky Calvin Klein belt which I stole from my mom about 15 years ago.
THURSDAY
Did I mention I love oversized coats? I got this Frankie Shop green bomber on Depop for an absolute bargain! I adore the colour and love pairing it with these Mantra tortoiseshell sunnies that I haven’t taken off since I bought them.
FRIDAY
I am in the trenches when it comes to weddings, we have 13 this year! I don’t normally wear black but I absolutely loved this Rebecca Vallance dress from Happy Days. I rented a Fendi bag from Rent and Renew and borrowed these burgundy Mantra shoes from Kate O’Neill, founder of Kalo. Such a sustainable outfit!
SATURDAY
I think it is so necessary to have a nice dress for day two of a wedding as you aren’t always feeling the freshest when you wake up! I opted for this Sister Jane collared dress from Happy Days paired with the Ganni buckle ballerina flats. These were one of my favourite purchases from last year. I really hate wearing heels so these make me feel dressed up without the effort of wearing heels!
SUNDAY
I love working the weekends in the shop as I get to meet loads of new customers. I love this Ralph Lauren men’s blazer. It’s 100% wool and the quality is amazing. I picked it up in the St Vincent De Paul on Georges Street. They do the best men’s blazers in my opinion! I always throw on a chunky pair of earrings with a big blazer and I love anything from Croia jewellery.
