Known for her colourful wardrobe and fun take on fashion, TV personality and stylist Sonya Lennon is not afraid to experiment – especially where her style choices are concerned. Here she shares a week in her wardrobe.
MONDAY
Taking off from Connemara Inverin Airport, heading for a weekend of yoga, hiking and swimming under the expert care of Greg Walsh of Samadhi Yoga. I love travelling in Lennon Courtney cool knits as they’re breathable and are so comfortable. My favourite Nike Airforce (the swoosh is velcroed on and interchangeable!) set the intention for an active and relaxing weekend. My glasses are from the Specsavers Luxe Collection.
TUESDAY
In full hiking mode, Underarmour pants, a vest top from Oysho and a cashmere knit from Sphere One. I always have one of her sweaters on the go as they are just perfect and I love supporting Irish design.
WEDNESDAY
I’m wearing a vintage Lennon Courtney two-piece to the launch of Permanent TSB’s ambitious Diversity strategy. I was obviously in a green mood this week as the colour keeps reappearing. The boots are from Barney’s New York and the jacket slung over my shoulder was my mum’s and is easily 50 years old.
THURSDAY
Green again for the LIFT Ireland board meeting and assorted meetings in town. Two pieces of Lennon Courtney teamed with Tabitha Simmons wedges and a vintage belt from who knows where. I never get rid of belts and have an extensive wardrobe of options.
FRIDAY
Heading to the recording of episode one of the new Lennon Courtney Podcast. I’m wearing a pre-loved denim jumpsuit bought from a pal on Depop. The shoes are Diane von Furstenberg from Vestiaire Collective.
SATURDAY
This was my Saturday morning in my courtyard, relaxing in my Moon & Mellow robe with a cup of coffee and the babble of my homemade water feature creating the background soundtrack. These glasses are also from the Specsavers Luxe range.
SUNDAY
Acid yellow Lennon Courtney for the annual bonanza that is the TWIG gala fundraiser for the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund. This is my fifth year MCing the event and one of my favourites. This was my arrival footwear, cobalt blue boots from Farfetch.
