From her does-it-all coat to her must-have knit, here are Laura Mullett’s favourite fashion finds.
Celebrity fashion stylist, journalist and broadcaster Laura Mullett was born with an eye for style, and it’s a passion she’s been nurturing for her whole life. Here, we get an exclusive glimpse into her enviable wardrobe.
How would you describe your personal style?
My style is playful, colourful and fairly maximalist.

I tend to dress for my mood and I feel I’ve gotten braver and more confident in my thirties. When it comes to dressing my shape, I definitely tend to make more vibrant and form fitting choices!
I love vintage clothing and timeless retro inspired silhouettes. Casually mixing textures and wearing florals and feminine fun pieces I can effortlessly mix and match works for me day to day.
The go-to shoe/trainers
Genuins are my go to summer sandals. They’re unisex, vegan, lightweight and incredibly comfortable. My favourite pair are the Hawaii vegan in shade stone and they’re just under €50 which is a style steal.
During the summer, I like to go to the local beach most evenings for a swim so I usually wear my marbled platform crocs in the sand so I can keep my Genuins sandals clean.
My go to trainers are the Reebok Club C 85. They’re perfect paired with dresses or with an oversized sweater and cycling shorts to and from the gym.

The does it all coat
I love my brown houndstooth trench coat from Safura. The voluminous sleeves and caped lapel are chic and waist accentuating. It was part of my edit with the Irish brand last year. It’s roomy enough to layer knitwear underneath when it’s chilly, can be paired with a tee, sneakers and jeans for a pared back look and also looks chic with elevated basics like black Capri pants, loafers and a starchy white shirt.
The must-have knitwear
I love printed cardigans and sweaters with accessories and denims. This rainbow cardigan is from iClothing and it’s pure sunshine in knitwear form! I feel my must have knitwear is a good quality cardigan that’s bright and beautiful. Dopamine dressing is a great way to add some life to your seasonal closet.
One of my bolder knitwear looks was for a fun night out in Bambini in Paris with my sister Jade. I wore a vibrant pink turtleneck with a brooch paired with a belted sparkly large sequin micro mini and statement tartan tights.
The everyday jewellery
I wear my ChloBo Jewellery constantly. I just love their pieces so much! I love layering their golden pendant and beaded pieces together. My favourite ChloBo piece I own is my Soothing Spirit gold beaded glasses chain.
The wear everywhere handbag
My favourite bag is my vintage LV looping bag. It’s the perfect size for all my essentials and the handle is the perfect shape. I bought this bag second hand a few years ago from the Designer Exchange.

The Sunday cosy casual look
I love a proper lazy Sunday when I can have one! Trackies and sweatpants are ideal for lounging around and doing the coffee run. My favourite go to set are kind of an aubergine shade and they’re by Irish designer Melissa Mills Bari. They’re so comfortable and wash so well.
The ultimate pyjamas
I love wearing silky pyjamas after a long shower and doing my skincare. Then I flake out and binge watch True Crime shows with my husband Darren and my dog Gizmo! My favourite pyjamas are my star print ones from Olivia Hapton. They’re so breathable and light so they’re ideal for Summer.
The party look essential
I rarely wear black but having a figure flattering LBD that’s transeasonal and that you feel confident in is such a failsafe no matter what occasion may arise!
The most treasured piece
I got married in February and I beyond love my wedding dress! It was the first I tried on and I just knew in my heart it was meant to be.

The wishlist item
I would love to get custom cowboy boots made in Bali. You can get the most amazing ones made to fit you like a glove for about €300 in your favourite colour and print combo. That would be the dream!
The vintage shop to know
I’m loving the new Babydoll vintage store in Stephens Green shopping centre in Dublin, I got an amazing ‘80s swimsuit there recently. I also have loved Jenny Vander on Drury Street since I was little. I bought the most beautiful vintage dress, headpiece, earrings and bag there for the last Downton Abbey Irish premiere screening.
Who to follow for style on social media
I love following @vikyandthekid @sheamarie on Instagram and I love following Shayna Terese Taylor on TikTok.
The beauty essentials/self care ritual
I try to be proactive about minding my skin. I try to lead a balanced lifestyle and diet, I take Omega 3 supplements and probiotics also for my health and skin.
My favourite products I use are Kiehls ultra facial cream SPF30, Kinvara cleansing oil, Emma Hardie lotus flower treatment cream, La Roche Posay effaclar spray, Aveeno calm and restore triple oat serum, It Cosmetics confidence in an eye cream.

I use Sunday Riley luna sleeping night oil which is a brilliant retinoid. I also use the Rituals peptides serum and Caudalie grape water mist for cooling hydration over and without makeup.
In the summer I wear Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser light revealer instead of foundation so my skin can breathe. I also use it mixed with Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter for a skin enhancing glow.
I like getting facials every so often. My favourite facial is the Hydro2 facial with Ziggy in MK aesthetics in Wexford.
My favourite body treatment that is very effective for me is the Renata Franca method lymphatic drainage full body massage in Essence’s day spa in Dublin. The effects are instantaneous and it’s magical for reducing inflammation and fluid retention. I go to the talented Vanessa Gomes. This Brazilian treatment and RF method is favoured by J Lo!
I’m a big fan of face devices! I love gua sha, using my NuFACE and especially my CurrentBody skin LED light therapy face mask. I also have a face steamer from Amazon that I use before I apply my skincare so ingredients are activated and more penetrative into damp skin.
