New season accessories, homeware essentials and live shows galore are among the spring purchases the IMAGE staffers will be making over the coming weeks.

I am running dangerously low on my Brow Aid BROWTOX Lift & Lock, so I intend on treating myself to the Brow Aid Nourish by Night-Boost by Day kit. I’m also craving some routine and movement with the brighter mornings and longer evenings, so I’m looking at April as an opportunity to purchase a pass to The Space Between and enjoy some yoga and pilates classes in the gorgeous studio over the coming weeks.
Finally, I’ve been trying to make some sustainable swaps this year and have just purchased a subscription to DAYE — personal hygiene products that are better for my body and the planet. Plus, I’m a sucker for their pretty packaging!

The Nike LD-1000 trainers in light blue and brown are at the top of my spring wishlist. I love the colourway, and I know they will carry me right through to summer. Such an easy piece to style with palazzo trousers, smock dresses… the list is endless!

I came across this gorgeous handmade Irish vase on Instagram recently and I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t even know if it’s for sale, but it’s jumped straight to the top of my wishlist, so here’s hoping! Aside from that, my spring shopping list includes a new snood—I lost my beloved blue one to the streets of New York—and a pair of the Zelda silver hoops from Irish designer Tory Long. I somehow misplaced one earring and have been bereft ever since as I wear them almost every day. Quickest repurchase ever! I do seem to be losing quite a lot of stuff lately though…

It took me a minute to hop on the Vinted train, but I made my first purchase last week just in time for spring! I’ve always been on the hunt for a set from Daily Sleeper, and I found this powder pink set—the perfect colour for spring—and I think this will be so fun to wear together with a pair of heels, or to style as separates! I’m also rewatching Sex and the City at the moment and have been utterly obsessed with finding this jacket that Carrie wore in season one (I’m thinking Vivienne Westwood). Although I haven’t yet found a copy, I could definitely see Carrie in this coat from the Avoca in Wicklow. I’m also eyeing up this more affordable option Kimono-style jacket.
I’m also trying my very best to make more sustainable fashion choices and buy second hand where possible. I got some gorgeous pieces at last month’s Relay Events Personal Clothing Market (including a fabulous Sister Jane skirt.) I will definitely be returning to their April event to see what other pieces I can give a second home — not that my wardrobe will thank me!
I love making an outfit feel new through accessorising and I recently found these gorgeous Irish designed bags on Instagram, and the baby blue one is top of my spring wishlist! A gorgeous bag to jazz up any outfit.

You might call it spring, I call it the season of my sister’s hen party, and in the hubbub of planning out the shenanigans, I completely forgot that I too will have to comply with the red and pink dress code. These are two colours I don’t own a lot of, and though I usually find it quite hard to commit to clothing purchases, I feel that this event is monumental enough to warrant a purchase. I adore this little Topshop number and think its beauty would only be enhanced by a feather boa, cowboy hat and phallic-shaped straw.
I’ve also been lusting after a shirt from Casa Cor Dublin since our extremely fashionable social media manager, Amber, introduced me to their pieces. I cannot decide between this hand painted one, or this upcycled one with ruched ties. Elsewhere this spring, I’ve picked up tickets to a very exciting Cúirt event: Sally Rooney in conversation with John Patrick McHugh. John wrote one of my very favourite books, Pure Gold, and will be releasing his debut novel next month, and Sally Rooney is Sally Rooney so obviously I will be front row.
I’ll also be picking up some incense packs from Be Kind, mainly because they burn for far longer than any other brand I’ve tried, and this oversized juicer from Meadows and Byrne, because I want to up my at-home margarita-making game. This is a pursuit I will be taking very seriously as we journey through spring and into summer.

As always, Zara Home has me in a chokehold. I’m currently waiting for this dress to land – it looks so much more expensive than its price tag, and I think it would be a great option for a few summer weddings I have coming up. And I keep coming back to this dog floor cushion – it’s kind of ridiculous, but I adore the faded Morris & Co print, and it would save me dragging my dog’s bed into the living room in the evenings. At least, this is what I tell myself.
Elsewhere, I’m on the lookout for new trainers, but have yet to settle on a pair. I do like this Adidas pair, although I’m pretty sure that’s just because they remind me of a pair of running spikes I had as a teenager. Does that make them cool or naff? Hard to say.
Linen sheets are also my absolute favourite, so I’ve been eyeing up Foxford’s new range – I love the dusty blue.

In one of our previous team guides I mentioned I was on the hunt for a new everyday bag that fits my laptop, notebook and a million other things. Well, last week I accidentally tripped and fell into Brown Thomas and landed right in front of the perfect bag which was the Coach Brooklyn Large Shoulder Bag in the shade Maple. It was definitely an investment but I know it will carry me through every season! I also have my eye on a new pair of Nike P-6000’s, which are the most comfortable runners ever! I spotted this gorgeous neutral pair on JD Sports and I know they will go with every spring/summer outfit in my wardrobe.

This spring I am investing into some nice new eyewear. I haven’t updated my lens prescription in two years so I’m due a new pair of glasses. I’ve had my eyes on these Vivienne Westwood metal frame glasses. They’re fun and chic and I really like the shape of them! I’d like to see some shows this month, and have tickets to go see this amazing folk band called DUG. I found them last year at Another Love Story and at Other Voices, and thought they were incredible. Now they’re touring around Ireland and it’s great to see! Next on my agenda for the month is to go see Youth’s the Season-? in the Abbey Theatre. And of course a copy of the new IMAGE Spring issue is always in my bag!

I absolutely love springtime. The sun is out, the flowers are in bloom, and my wardrobe is crying out for an upgrade. I have recently completed a huge cull of my clothes (donating items I am ashamed to say date back to my secondary school days…) so there are a few items on my wishlist that I’m dying to get. Butter yellow has become a fast favourite of mine, and I feel my wardrobe is sorely lacking in it. I’m dying to get this cardigan from & Other Stories as I feel it would be such a lovely addition to a spring fit.
I am also loving studded flats at the moment, and these faux suede ballerinas from Stradivarius are at the top of my wishlist. These gorgeous Adidas Originals Samba OG Crochet trainers will also be going straight in my cart. Finally, I am really intrigued by the bubble skirt trend this spring, so I will be purchasing this lovely linen bubble skirt from Next which I’m super excited to style.

I’ve been on the hunt for comfortable white trousers that aren’t see-through and these ones from H&M look perfect. They’re actually ‘feather soft’ denim with a comfortable drawstring and a wide leg – I feel like I could wear them with so many things in my wardrobe!
My kitchen’s very limited counter space has been driving me nuts lately, so I’ve been on the hunt for nice shelving to add extra storage, and this hanging shelf from Sosterne Greene is perfect. And it comes with different string colours to match your kitchen too.
Culture-wise, I’ve two books on my spring reading list that I’ve heard great things about – Our Wives Under the Sea and Mad Honey. I’ve promised my friends I’ll finally get to them in April. Then, I’m seeing Murder on the Orient Express in the Gaiety based on one of my favourite Agatha Christie books, so I can’t wait!
