The best affordable bridal outfits for your big day

The best affordable bridal outfits for your big day

Weddings look very different nowadays than they did before.

Everything from the guest count to the setting to the attire has changed. In fact, more and more brides have decided to forgo the fairytale princess dress in favour of more low-key options instead.

Vast swathes of tulle and lace have been replaced by slinkier high street numbers. Veils rarely get a look in – if they do, they’re more understated than in previous years – with hairpieces tending to take centre stage nowadays. Dress lengths vary, as do accessories and most brides seem to be buying with longevity in mind.

While high street bridal fashion may not be for everyone, it definitely provides a more affordable alternative for those looking to keep their big day within budget and there are plenty of traditional (and not-so-traditional) gúnas, jumpsuits, and suits out there to choose from. If nothing else, one of the below would definitely qualify as an appropriate day two ‘fit.

Shop our edit of the best affordable bridal fashion below.

Rixo

Rixo just launched their second bridalwear collection and it’s dreamy, to say the least. Affordable while still extremely stylish, they even have a very chic tuxedo jumpsuit if you’d rather something a little more on the untraditional side.

Zara

Zara may not be your first port of call when wedding dress shopping, but their latest drop might just change your mind. Available in a range of different styles, each dress is surprisingly elegant and the off-white colourway really speaks to our retro-loving souls.

H&M

H&M doesn’t have wedding dresses specifically, but they do stock some gorgeous bridesmaid options – many of which would also be suitable as pre/post-wedding day choices too.

Other high street options

Plenty of other high street stores now stock bridal wear too, so you really are spoiled for choice when it comes to finding a dress that not only suits your style but your budget too.
