Wondering what's on shelves in all your favourite highstreet shops? Here's what we're adding to our online shopping baskets this week.
The danger with doing these types of articles is that I’m guaranteed to see something I like. This entire list is basically a curated guide to my online shopping cart… and it’s taking a huge deal of self-restraint not to click that shiny *checkout now* button.
July is kind of a weird time, shopping wise. Summer is well underway, but the weather doesn’t always reflect that and so the pastel colours and lighter fabrics that make up the majority of my choices are probably more optimistic than practical. The glass is always half full in my book, even if the ghrian is rarely ag scoilteadh na gcloch round these parts…
It seems that the highstreet shops have all been influenced by the return of the grand stretch as well. Zara’s new offerings come in a variety of candyfloss hues with beach attire and linen wear also re-emerging in line with peak holiday season.

H&M and &Other Stories continue to nail the back-to-work looks with their structured (but still stylish) pieces, while Mango and M&S are all about denim. ASOS’s “new in” page is re-populated so frequently that it’s hard to pick out one specific trend and Oasis seems to have a bit of everything from satin slip skirts to monochrome knits for when the wind kicks up.
In other words, all bases (and seasons) are covered. Shop our edit of new in pieces below.
