The street style trends from CPHFW to try now
Fashion journalist Zeda was back at Copenhagen Fashion Week tracking the season’s most striking trends as they unfolded on the streets. This year, the fashion crowd showed us all how it's done with sharp suiting, opulent textures and high fashion with a touch of charm. Here are the emerging style trends from CPHFW to try now.
I would choose capturing outfits at Copenhagen Fashion Week over going to watch a fashion show because the showgoers offer a masterclass in wearing clothes and effortless chic. This season, from clean cuts to playful kitsch, the fashion crowd blended sharp sophistication with eccentricity, once again proving that dressing up is both an art and an attitude. Here’s what’s defined the style conversation at CPHFW AW25.

Sharp Suiting
The clear winner in the streets this season, power dressing took on a fresh, modern edge as tailored suits reclaimed their place at the forefront of street style. From oversized blazers with exaggerated shoulders to impeccably cut trousers, suiting struck the perfect balance between structure and ease. While classic neutral tones like grey, black and camel dominated, daring prints and unexpected textures like pinstripes, checks and even leather finishes added a playful twist. Styling was key to the success: trainers brought a laid-back contrast to crisp tailoring, while statement coats layered over sleek suits created an elevated yet wearable look. Some took it a step further, cinching oversized blazers and coats with bold belts or pairing them with boots for a power move that was equal parts commanding and cool. Copenhagen’s fashion set proved that suiting is anything but rigid and the message was clear: the suit is back and it means business.
Fur For Days
The debate over the ‘right’ kind of fur to buy is still ongoing, whether faux, vintage, or reworked. I don’t have the answers but one thing is certain: fur dominated the streets this season, cementing itself as the ultimate statement in both luxury and warmth. Seeing the oversized coats around the city gave its wearers a sense of old-fashioned glamour, with a textural twist. All styled impeccably with conflicting colours and varying levels of undress, it proved that sophistication doesn’t have to be stiff and made the case for blending high fashion with everyday wearability. Whether seen in classic neutral tones, rich chocolate browns or unexpected pops of colour, fur brought a noticeable richness to CPHFW, reminding us that fashion is as much about how it feels as how it looks.
