This high street collection is making embellished partywear sustainable
Created with 100% recycled-content sequins, rhinestones and beads, the H&M Innovation Re-Enchantment collection is making party wear planet-safe.
Looking for a standout piece for a summer wedding, the races or festival season? H&M’s latest dazzling collection of ‘60s-inspired perfect party pieces are created with sustainably sourced embellishments for partywear that’s planet-friendly.
From a rhinestone embellished bandeau dress that’s already been spotted on Nicola Peltz-Beckham to Surrealist jewellery made from post-consumer recycled brass, each piece was designed with inspiration from “the glittering magic of crystals and minerals” to create a 26 piece line-up of mood-boosting party pieces that will stay in your wardrobe for years to come.
“This collection celebrates the wonder of the natural world with beautifully embellished looks designed to delight,” says Ella Soccorsi, assortment designer at H&M. “Not only are they dazzling from a fashion perspective, but they represent a milestone in more sustainably-sourced embellishments, something we’ve worked hard to improve over the last eight years.”
The collection is a part of H&M’s Innovation Stories, a line dedicated to sustainable materials and processes. Key pieces in the collection that champion the line’s environmental focus include a pair of platform heels in an organic silk and viscose blend made from renewable wood sources to mini dresses made from recycled polyester with sequins, rhinestones and beads constructed with recycled PET plastic bottles and display shelves and boxes.
With glittering jacquard co-ords, rhinestone-embellished denim, romantic wedding-guest evening gowns, sequinned suits to standout cocktail dresses, there’s a mood-boosting jewel-toned sustainable staple for every style.
