Uggs: How to style winter’s cosiest shoe

Uggs: How to style winter’s cosiest shoe

From midi skirts and chunky socks to the ever classic black on black, here are five outfit ideas to help you style your Uggs this season.

With jeans and a white tee

A classic for a reason, there’s very little that jeans and a white tee don’t go with – a simple shoe change and a slick of red lippy is all you need to take you from couch to club. For a more relaxed look, uggs make the perfect companion.

With a midi skirt and funky socks

It’s sweater weather which might make you think that the time for skirt-wearing has passed… not so. In fact, there’s still plenty of time to wear your favourite midi skirts – simply throw on some thick, woollen socks (or chunky tights if you prefer) underneath, et voilà, you have a winter-appropriate version. Complete the look with a pair of Uggs for ultimate cosiness.

With leggings and leg warmers

Part of the resurgence of Y2K trends, leg warmers have seeped back into mainstream fashion and surprisingly, go great with Uggs – particularly the mini styles. Team with black leggings (or an all-in-one unitard)) and a soft-as-butter cashmere knit for an easy but super chic ‘fit.

With a knit dress

Warm and comfortable while still stylish, knit dresses are the way forward when it comes to winter dressing – especially when it’s cold out and the last thing you want to do is leave your bed and get dressed for the day. Uggs are almost slippers so this whole get-up is essentially pyjamas… you can’t fault my logic.

With all black

If in doubt, all black will never steer you wrong. Yes, it’s a simple formula but don’t mistake it for boring and you can always add interest with colourful accessories and a bold make-up look.
