What a stylist and interior design maven wears to New York Fashion Week
An influencer and socialite living between New York, The Hamptons and Bali, Irina Kro Eicke is consistently inspired by her travels and the places she visits. Part of the creative team at her husband Maximilian Eicke’s interior design company, she’s managed to combine her two big passions—art and fashion—into one. Recently attending NYFW, she shares her week in outfits below. Be warned, you’re going to have major outfit envy!
THURSDAY
I can’t believe it’s NYFW again! I feel energised and ready to see the new collections, but especially to take in all the creativity from the designers. It’s always so inspiring. For the occasion, I also got a new hair-do, a “mixie” as they call it. I am starting this week wearing one of my favourite New York brands, Tibi. I chose this crisp white polo and oversized padded jacket and paired them with a patent midi skirt. A combo which felt surprising but totally worked! For a pop of colour, I added my leather lilac Carolina Herrera bag, and to finish it off, my Stuart Weitzman kitten heels, in mirror leather – a true stand-out piece.
FRIDAY
It’s the second day of NYFW and I decided to go for an edgier vibe. I pulled out a gorgeous Sportmax fitted black leather coat, but I let the accessories do all the talking. I wore a pair of lucite Alexis Bittar earrings, along with a statement necklace and a “scissors leather clutch”, the accessory that had me talking all night. It was an incredible conversation starter – a very unique piece that deserves the spotlight!

SATURDAY
I finally got to wear my favourite Zimmermann look from the new Resort 25 collection. Never have I worn a better trench coat so far, and this one ticked all the boxes of how a piece of outerwear should be. Underneath, I wore a polka dot blouse along with its tiered full-length skirt that peeked under the coat. I carried a Zimmermann east-west clutch, which was very appropriate for the evening events I was attending.

SUNDAY
Sunday Funday and I couldn’t have had a more fun evening with PatBo. I attended an intimate dinner to celebrate the brand’s Carnival Gala Collection at Casa Cipriani. I wore an incredible red sequined number, in a silhouette that’s very recognizable for PatBo, hugging my figure in all the right places, and I felt comfortable dancing the night away in it!
MONDAY
How to start a Monday right? By attending the Carolina Herrera show of course. Every season it’s my highlight. I am always honoured to attend such a special event and every time, I am mesmerised by the storytelling, the craftsmanship and the genius of Wes Gordon. A few days before the show, I went to their showroom to select an outfit, and I landed on a pastel blue, thin cardigan paired with a voluminous floral-print skirt and a bold fuschia belt to accentuate the waist. To dress down the look, I wore a pair of black leather Carolina Herrera boots, and I loved the overall vibe of it – feminine with a touch of edginess.
TUESDAY
Last full day of NYFW! It was a fabulous week and, as anticipated, I am so inspired by everything I’ve seen – the street style, the collections, the designers. I ended the day wearing a dramatic Cucculelli Shaheen crystal blackberry dress in organza and silk—which took 1,829 hours of work to make!—along with its coordinated jacket. What a privilege. The brand is helmed by married duo Anna and Anthony, and of course, the new collection is just as beautiful: every piece is meticulously designed and I am already looking forward to hopefully wearing one of their looks in the coming months.

WEDNESDAY
After six full days of running from venue to venue and capturing it all on my Instagram, today I still had one last event to attend but kept it a bit more “casual”, in my Lapointe print-on-print look. I loved the overall vibe of it, particularly the juxtaposition of the two similar prints, one more abstract and the other very trendy. Still taking my new favourite Alexis Bittar clutch with me, it adds the perfect touch of coolness to everything.
