The Pitch Judging Process

  • Upon closing date and collation of entries for The Pitch, Powered By Samsung 2024 the shortlist committee, made up of editors and directors of IMAGE Media and Samsung senior management, will meet to deliberate and create a shortlist of finalists. 
  • Criteria for consideration is based on eligibility, strength of entry, strength of business, relevance to the competition, adherence to criteria and balance to the overall list. 
  • These lucky finalists will be announced on Friday, November 1st, 2024 and will be invited to prepare for the live pitch event taking place in Dublin on 11th November 2024.
  • At the live pitch event, on 11th November, each of the successful finalist candidates will be invited to make their pitch, live, in front of the judges and invited audience.
  • Each of the successful candidates will have seven minutes to make their pitch. All are welcome to include product samples, storyboards, props or pre-recorded video material (which can be shown to judges and audience on the stage screens with built-in audio) in their pitch presentation.
  • All pre-recorded material should be limited to a maximum of 4 minutes in total.
  • The winning party will be announced on the night. 
  • The Judges’ decision is final.
