We’ve always been fans of Whitney Port ever since we were introduced to her on MTV’s?The Hills. She appeared to be the only source of reason and normality on the show and?lest we forget, she was never going to be the one who didn’t go to Paris because of a boy (remember Jason?! Yuck). The now’successful fashion designer and owner of Whitney Eve met her boyfriend on the set of the reality show, only it bloomed behind the camera, not in front of it. Tim Rosenman was the associate producer of her spin-off show.
The successful fashion designer and owner of Whitney Eve met her now-husband while she was still starring on reality TV, only the romance bloomed behind the camera, not in front of it. Tim Rosenman was the associate producer of her spin-off show? The City and while they kept their relationship very private (oh the irony), word got out in November 2013 that they had gotten engaged and well, the rest is history.
The two spoke to Green Wedding Shoes about their wedding in Palm Springs, calling the theme “Desert Chic meets Art Deco meets Tropical”.
The couple wanted the entire weekend to be really chilled out and casual and kicked off festivities the night before with the rehearsal dinner – in a bowling alley! Guests wore nametags handwritten by the bride and groom with short personal sentiments or witty one-liners and sipped on cocktails as the bowling competition grew fierce.
The couple chose to get married in Colony 29?in Palm Springs. The property is surrounded by six acres of botanical gardens and stunning canyon views with individual accommodations, pools and dining areas.
The bride designed these silky custom robes and gifted them to her bridal party to get ready, replicating the breezy wedding location in the print. You can now buy the bridesmaids robes online from?Whitney Eve.

The soon-to-be Mrs. Rosenman kept her make super simple and dewy with a dusty pink eye shadow and lips, soft lashes and a highlighted cheekbones that brings out her Californian skin tone. She also opted for a simple swept back messy bun that wouldn’t overshadow the intricacies of her dress while the simple fern hair piece complemented the surroundings.

The bride’s floral wedding shoes by Paul Andrews are simply to die for and the skin-toned bootie means that they look pared back while still be comfortable enough to wear well into the night.

The applique dress is just exquisite and shows off her gorgeous gams. It’s the perfect combination of demure with the detailed sleeves, high neck and long train with the fun and?flirtiness of the short cut and cascading hem.

First looks! While we’re not sure how we feel about first looks – we sort of love the idea of the groom seeing the bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle – this adorable photos makes us think it might be worth it for the photographic opportunity!

With a colour palette of black, white and gold backed by the pale greens and silvers of the venue, BK Events created a boho cocktail/tiki party feel with cosy velvets and natural materials like bamboo and wicker, along with retro designs?and simple accessories. The couple opted against a formal sit-down reception, preferring “everyone to have little bites of everything” and cocktails named after their nicknames for one another. Bless.
